It all started with an idea while visiting very distant Hindu temples for regular rituals and celebration of major hindu festivals. Some of us, close family friends living in Aachen, thought of working together for having a temple complex. We celebrate our cultural and traditional events like Deepawali, Holi, Ganesh Pujan, Onam, Pongal etc. at small private gatherings. We visit Hindu temples which are quite far from Aachen and miss our timely celebrations of auspicious occassions.  We thought to engage increasing number of Bhartiyas (Indians) in Aachen under one umbrella. With support from friends and Indian families, we have registered this e.V. with a motivation to establish a small complex of Hindu temple where people from different parts of Bharat (India) living in Aachen and around the region can participate. So that we all  can come together and perform regular mandatory rituals and celebrate all major festivals with a spirit of oneness.

We are a team of like-minded Indian professionals living and working in the Aachen region, and we consider Aachen and Germany our second home (Karmabhumi). Our deep connection to our Indian customs, cultural heritage, and traditions allows us to understand and support our community's cultural needs during various religious occasions. We believe in the concept of "Lokah Samastah Sukhino Bhavantu" which means "Let the entire world be Happy" and this deeply resonates with our ultimate motto.
